Blue-Collar Astronaut
My "Learn Unity" project that got a bit out of hand... eventually released on PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox One, Steam (PC/Linux/OSX), and WiiU (yes, really) at the same time. I learned lessons about the effects of prolonged sleep deprivation on the human psyche.
A Lunar Lander like game about the oppressive nature of student loans in the USA, some mechanics around gender pay gaps, and probably the only game to have real lottery odds.
Knights of the card table
Getting its start as a game jam game, Dungeon Dealer, we started this project with physical prototype cards in an effort to keep mechanics simple and enjoyable. An Apple game of the day at one point. Artwork by the amazing James WAR Lloyd
I'm oddly proud of the writing I did for this one.

Mobile prototypes
In 2019 we picked up a contract to produce monthly mobile prototypes for existing game design documents. For five months we delivered a fully playable game on iOS and Android from scratch. These were then evaluated for monetary performance based on ad spend to get installs.
Certainly an interesting and fast paced gig, and allowed us to bring in the talented James W.A.R. Lloyd at times. We even pulled in Michael Wilson from Ponywolf for this one!
Another game jam game. I really liked how this one turned out. Michael, from PonyWolf, has been perfecting a level generator for awhile, and we put it through the paces. It shows plenty of signs of being made in the off hours over the course of 7 days, but there's good meat on that bone.

Rogue Meteor
Flat Earths!
You guessed it, a game jam game. However we spent some time afterwards to polish it up a decent amount. Eventually even converted it from Solar 2D to Unity. Not necessarily because one was better than the other, but just to give an idea of the work involved.
A solid couch deathmatch option if you're looking for a good hour or two of fun times.

SKIPCHASER
Skipchaser is a rogue-like, story driven sci-fi fantasy shooter with customizable weapons, procedural levels and fast paced gunfights.
Way back when, we teamed up with Ponywolf to produce a Solar 2D game for Steam. Built on top of Ponywolf's SDK, we contributed to the procedural generation, enemy AI, and general polishing to get SKIPCHASER in a state ready for release. Even put in a big boss battle.

Boise ale trail
We worked with Saint Monday to provide a mobile "check-in" app for visiting breweries in Boise Idaho. While we didn't get to do as much hands on integration testing as we might have liked, but the project worked out splendidly. With a Solar 2D front end and simple server/database backend, we provided a cost effective and fun-to-use solution for our client.

In-Progress NES Game
In an effort to experience first hand what it was like to be a programmer in the hayday of the NES, we've started a 6502 assembly project that runs natively on the system. There isn't a lot to say about the project just yet, but learning the ins and outs of the NES and the ingenious ways it produced 60fps gaming with such limited hardware has been highly rewarding.
